Create a Visual Identity and Brand Strategy for a matchstick brand.

Challenge
I worked on creating the full visual identity for a matchstick brand. The challenge was turning a familiar, everyday object into a brand with a clear personality and story while keeping the design practical, believable, and ready for the real world.
Explore
I studied the various reasons why a person chooses to pick up a matchstick instead of a lighter in today's age. I understood the demographic and the need for a brand that celebrates a certain group of people who use matchsticks.
Create
I wanted a brand that felt bold and unapologetic, something that relates to the personality of a fire. Since matchstick is something very tactile and sensory, I aimed to bring that through the identity and designs

My Reflection.
I've always wanted to use textures in my designs but never got the opportunity to. Through this project I achieved my objective. Since it was my first time creating textures for a digital and print design, I had to take care of a lot of this like the material, the lighting, shadows, etc. Although this project went on for a long duration, it was a very fun and fulfilling project.
